If you worry about these things, you deserve the 5D Mark II. If I shot small-frame Canon DSLRs, this is the camera. wanakoworks. • 5 yr. ago. The 5DII was able to read any high-capacity CF cards from the factory. The biggest CF card available right now is a Lexar 256GB. My 5D Classic with a firmware update from 2006 can read high-capacity CF. I've only tested mine up to 64GB as that's the biggest I had.

The EOS 5D Mark II has a standard metal EF lens mount, because it has a full-frame sensor it can't support EF-S lenses which are designed to work with APS size sensors (and hence produce a smaller imaging circle).
